National Science Day celebrations - 2022 at Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, Payakaraopeta

Science is the discovery of knowledge with methodical experiment and observation.  Observations describe how and why things happen. Experiments are investigations used to explain how the world works. Such observations are seen and experiments are proven by the students of Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan,  CBSE, Payakaraopeta. The event was organised on account of ‘National Science Day. National Science Day (NSD) is celebrated every

year on 28 February to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by our great Indian physicist Sir CV Raman on 28 February, 1928. 

The theme of National Science Day 2022 is ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future’. Prakashites, under the guidance of Science faculty,  have prepared the following working models:

1.Automatic Street Lights 2.Tesla Coil  3.Door Alarm 4.Water Alarm 5.Earthquake Alarm 6.Pollution System 7.Electrolysis of Water 8.Electroplating and Designs of Moeller Diagram 9. Periodic Table  10.Heart, Kidneys and Excretory System. 

The highlighted one was about the explanation of the  scientists CV Raman, MS Swaminathan, JC Bose, Homi Jehangir Bhabha, Vikram  Sara bhai and Dr APJ. Abdul kalam. Apart from these, the students also did the experiments on testing nature of substances, coordination of mind and hand and the explanation about blood groups  and blood cells. The students were captivated by their demonstration of creative and innovative science projects. All the students, staff took part in the event and made it a grand success.
