Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna , one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Krishnashtami was celebrated with full fervour, as Sri Prakash hosted traditional festivities and kids aged two to seven were beautifully dressed up as Krishna, Bala rama, Radha, Vasudeva, and Yasodha. The school was well decorated with peacock feathers, pots. The idol of little krishna was placed in a cradle. It was indeed a splendid colourful programme where the children sang songs and explained the importance of Krishnastami. They enthralled the visitors with their dance performances as well during the janmashtami celebrations. The students were overjoyed when they broke the “Dahi Handi”. The celebration was flowered into a grand success, owing to the absolutely zealous participation of the students and the spellbound parents.
